Violet Jane is located in rural Vermont.
I hand-dye 100% wool yarn, used by
traditional rug hookers,  punch-needle
hooking artists and knitters.

My yarn is also available at workshops
and class taught by Amy Oxford.
This rug is 18" x 13", designed &
punch-hooked by Louise Kulp
in August 2006.  In her words:
"The design depicts the Canadian
Rockies  and was inspired by a trip to
Banff, Alberta, Canada.  It is done in the
style of the Canadian Pacific Railway
advertising posters of the 1940s.  The
color I used in the foreground
mountains on the far left- and
right-hand sides of the rug--is Ripe
Berries.  Love that color!!"
