Violet Jane is located in rural Vermont.  
I hand-dye 100% wool yarn, used by traditional rug hookers,  punch-needle hooking artists and knitters.

International Punch Needle Rug Hooking Day is April 9, 2011.

I will be offereing a FREE beginner's class on that day from 2 pm to 4 pm in Underhill, Vermont. Please use the contact page  to sign up.

I am a rug hooker, and I like to use lots of textures in my work.  When I began using a punchneedle, I was disappointed in the available rug yarns.  I decided to dye my own spot-dyed yarn. Other punchhook artists were interested in purchasing my rug yarn, so Violet Jane was born. I offer more than 75 different spot-dyed colors of 2 weights of rug yarn.
